I'm also curious about the feel of this setup. Does it feel any heavier than the stock shifter/knob? Or does it simply shift quicker while still feeling light?

PMs replied

Sent PMs back to everyone.

Basically to have two great setups here...The knob itself is heavier and really accents the feel for shifting up and down. Same methodology applies to many JDM knobs that have brass cores allowing more density weight in smaller diameter. Really great feel.

The quick shifter is remarkably different - As I put the OEM shifter unit back on my GE, it was night and day. The quick shifter just allows shorter shifting throws and much quicker. It does not allow the knob to sit any lower, but the mechanism itself allows quicker engagement for each gear.

Combined, it feels great. With just the OEM knob and the quick shifter setup - feels just as nice.
