I guess someone see value and agree with my price positioning

Price is too high - you can buy this brand new for 240- maybe $125-$150 you might get some offers

 

At this moment,
I did NOT see any store/website that sell it for $240
I had check using google, eBay, Amazon, JEGS, Summit Racing even AutoAnything and
All the website above that I see are selling it at around $283.99

Can you point out which website sell it for $240 new?

You are right if your local tax rate is near or around 0% because that offer do NOT include Sales Tax
and
you still have to PAY for SHIPPING,
plus that offer end tomorrow,
so if you want to buy it at near $240, (again depend on your local sales tax and your shipping cost location)
you better buy it before that offer end tomorrow.

In the end,
I can NOT follow your advise
and advertise my K&N intake at $120 to $150,
especially since you said that if I try to put my selling price
at between $120 to $150 then someone will make an offer,
which mean that offer will be at an even lower price than $120.

I think $210 is a FAIR price for a good low mileage K&N filter
that had been cleaned, re-oiled,
and in like new condition and INCLUDE Shipping and NO TAX.
beside I will sell it for $200 for LOCAL PICK UP.

It is after all still lower then the estimated $240 price at Autozone
which only available till tomorrow and only if you have near ZERO sales tax in your area.

Beside if you are in California, that price will jump with tax and shipping cost,
and will be more like $260 shipped which mean a saving of $50 over my asking price at $210
or $60 if LOCAL Pick Up

$30 to $60 bucks saving my be too small for some customer
but might be enough for other customer,
especially if they want to buy it when there is no more promotion period
like what we currently "unfortunately for me" have now at Autozone.
I understand that if you willing to wait,
some website might have similar promotion,
but that is ok

I understand that FAIR price for me as the seller might be different than you as potential buyer.
I bought it at $283 and I don't intent to sell it at $120 (or lower)

If it is not meant to be sold,
then I guess, I just have to keep it and perhaps use it again in the future
