Yes I have cracked the Mugen lip and ripped off an sti lip but replaced and fixed the crack beginning of the summer

I skim the ground, it's a risk but just love the way it looks lol and I got quick releases for my bumper to take it off for bad speed bumps or drive ways definitely comes in handy

 

Yep. Thats my plan too. Scrape and all that good stuff. Give me another year. My newborn has to be able to hold his head up first. Lol.

 

Might as well add my setup for people to reference:

Tanabe DF210's on 16x7 SSR Type-F's (+42) front & (+37) rear after 5mm spacer & 195-50-16 tires (all around)

I regularly have 4 people in my car for long trips and I never end up scraping. Great daily driver friendly option for those of you who are not looking to slam your car but want to improve on the Fit's handling and appearance.

 

^ THAT...is really clean. Looks great, and very practical.

The part of SoCal I live in has steep driveways and crazy hills so if I was slammed it just wouldn't be very functional

I bet 5mm. Hence the +37 in the rear vs +42 in front.

Thanks for the compliments, yeah I am running a 5mm in the rear. I noticed the front was more aggressive when the wheels were mounted and the suspension was aligned so I just added the slip-on spacer.

 

Looks great man.. How's the ride compare to stock? Not in terms of handling but comfort? When I had my eibachs sport lines in, my GF was getting pissed off at the ride, but I just loved the way it looked...

 

Hey Waizz. Where did you get the spacers? I'm guessing you didn't have to change anything about the studs, just slip the spacers on and put the wheels back on?

I am running the Eibach pro-kit on my Z and thought the ride was good but the Tanabe on this car is honestly a nice combination of performance and comfort.

My biggest problem with the OEM setup was that it was too high and had excessive body roll. Turn-in on the street at least has been greatly improved with the Tanabe's but I also have aftermarket tires as well which help with grip.

I would definitely recommend these springs to anyone, I am quite satisfied after the 2.5 months that I have been running them.


Hi Dustin,

This spacer is so small you can definitely run it without extending your studs. Anything larger than 10mm I would definitely suggest you upgrade your studs for safety but 5mm is perfectly safe.

The spacers that I am running are the Kyo-Ei 5mm spacers and then I also added a set of SSR hubcentric rings since the SSR's required them
