Progress springs with Koni STR.T struts. Just installed last night so this might settle a little more.

Hey guys, need some input.

I installed my Tein STECH on 205/40/17 with a ride height of 1.6 front and 1.6 rear, however the front seems to be sitting a little higher than the rears; is this normal ? Should I get them settled in or just have the fronts cut a little bit ?

Are you basing that on actual measurements or just eyeballing it?

Little bit of both but more based on measure actually.

Ok, how much of a difference between the front and rear is there? And where/how are you making your measurements?

Here's how I messured the distance and how is set right now:

F = 1.8 inches from tire to fender
R = 1.5 inches from tire to fender.

I've read multiple posts stating the F should settle in a few days but considering how rough the roads are around here, front should have settled already.

Three tenths of an inch difference isn't very much. And you say you're measuring from fender to tire? If by tire you mean the top of the tire, that's not the most accurate way to measure. You should measure from the fender to the top of the WHEEL. This will give you a more accurate measurement. Also, are you confident the springs were installed correctly? They do have to be oriented in the struts the correct way (the fronts).

Although measure might not be accurate, nonetheless the Fronts are sitting higher; I might review the installation once again and make sure it was installed correctly.

You have same problem with me. I've installed my GE8 on Tein S-Tech and the front sitting higher than the rear. So i cut it a little bit. And now it sit beautifully.
