Swaybars for GE8?

Hey Everyone,

I am a long time habitual lurker of this forum but recently joined since I picked up my 09 SSM Fit Sport. I absolutely have fallen in love with this car! I am not one of those people who enjoys going fast in a straight line, I would much rather have fun in the twisties. That being said, I am looking at improving the handling of my Fit.

I know one of the first things I could do for handling is add some springs to the mix. I want to hold off on doing springs and shocks simply because I am planning on going with either HKS or Cusco coilovers in a few months. There seem to be suspension parts coming out every day for the fit but I have been unable to locate front and rear swaybars for the GE8, besides what Cusco offers. Are there any other manufacturers making swaybars for the GE8? I wouldn't mind owning a set from Cusco but the only place I have found them is through RHDJapan and they are asking for my first born for a set! Any help would be appreciated and I look forward to contributing to the forum!

Thanks, Evan

have Cusco released one for the GE? or the ones for the GD would fit?

and sway bars are only for the rear? Ultra Racing and it seems Progress as well offer for the rear only...

Cusco has a set for the GE but the are around 600 for both the bars. I plan on picking them up when I have some extra cash burning a hole in my pocket.

Hey guy,
If you want a RSB for your GE8, Progress makes one for your Fit. Take a look at these posts:

Review of the Progress Rear Swaybar for the '09 Fit
The Install of the RSB, with pictures

To my knowledge, this was their first production RSB shipped to the general public.
