What is the difference between the 06-08 and the 09+ upper strut bars? Can a 06-08 be modified to work on the 09? Could it be as simple as fabricating different end mounting brackets or is there a major design difference that can not be over come? Would it ruin the geometry by doing so?

 

Just buy the ones designed for your car. Whatever good deal you found will be out the window with all the fab work to make it fit.

 

09 doesn't attach to the strut. check out the ultra racing bar for 2008 ge8 fits with minor mods to the water resevior and the master cylinder resevoir. here is a pic of it on my car.

 

I'm not concerned about the fab work but the possibilities. I have the ability and resources to make it work as long as it can and time is not an issue. Thanks for the advice. It will come in handy once all else fails.

I have that same bar, if someone wants to throw a price out for it. It's just sitting in my garage since I didn't want to mod my bay to fit it in.

i have drilled thru 2 different car's strut towers before to install crap like this or camber plates
