Is there a major difference between the 2 gens. Would a GD suspension fit on my 2010. Im in love with F&F coils but they only have them for the 08 Fit. Anyone have an idea

The GD coilovers will work on a GE, however the GD tends to have much stiffer spring rates - especially at the back.

The GD springs are stiffer, and also shorter. The rears of the GD are significantly stiffer than the rears of the GE8, and with a full GD3 suspension on a GE8, you'll have more wheel-gap in the rear than the front.

Read my thread on when I put the Mugen GD3 suspension on my GE8.

Thats good to know that there is no modification needed. I can only assume that with coils you can fix the problem of gap on the rear, due to the fact of full height adjustment.
