Bilstein maybe. The Germans can engineer the shit out of some suspension components.

I think its really subjective. All im looking for is quality and a slightly firmer ride than factory. HKS and J's Racing are over kill for me. Ive always loved Bilsteins struts on my Bimmer so I'm sure there coilover should be good.

High build quality
Decent ride quality
Conistancy in dampening and proof of it (Dyno Sheets)
Fine Adjustability
Upgradeable options to suit persons needs
Longevity
Customizeable valving and spring rates

Those are some of the more important things to me.

and how much would you be willing to pay for all that?

btw, HKS offer custom spring rates and they gives you more info on what you're getting... stock vs their coilover. you can even request for their test data. they offer rebuilding or if you want to do it yourself... they would gladly supply you of what you need.

OHLINS also would be happy to build you on with their BTO (build to order) program.

here's a BTO ge8 coilover... for way over 3K USD... you can have them

^ as do I and if I have to shell out 3K for suspension... it'll be airrunners and not coilover

so yes... there are good coilovers for the fit

I am willing to pay what I think each individual product is worth.

In the near future I may be getting coilovers so I started my research a few weeks ago and won't make a decision until I feel I have considered all options and know enough about every product to pick the one that goes best with the use of my Fit.

Right now the ones I have to most interest in are the following:

Fortune Auto Comfort with Swift Springs Upgrade
HKS Hipermax III
Cusco Comp-S

As far as information goes, I have no problem getting information most coilovers. I work for a performance vendor who is an authorized dealer for the majority of suspension companies. Most technical info is an e-mail away and this also has allowed me to get hands on experience with most brands of coilovers. The same goes with getting rebuild parts or getting rebuilds done themselves.
