i havent done this yet, but it would seem the hardest part would be all the unbolting and removing of the front struts. aside from the spring removal, which you wont have to do, the process should be nearly identical.

another difference is in the T1R DIY he only unbolted the bottom of the rear shock since it didnt need to be removed. youll have to release it from the top as well to get it out.

 

I'd rather make money while paying someone to do it. Haha.

I'm paying $200 with an alignment for the coilover install but I'm also having my wheel studs pressed in and my new lines and brake fluid swapped out (which are not included at that price).

 

all I have to say for first timers... at least have someone knowledgeable or have had prior experience be there to help you. extra hands is the key and don't let the "oh it's so easy a caveman could do it..." talk pressure you. don't be a hero... be smart.
