koni came out with a set that is supposedly 20% stiffer. my stock dampers are starting to show wear with over 11,000 miles. that would certainly be the budget option, although I am tempted to get coilovers because i will need height adjustability if i strip weight off the car again. (rear seat and spares come out to about 100lbs)

your ride height will not change hardly at all with the rear seats out, even with stock springs.

I should have the new Koni STRT shocks in a week or so. I'll dyno them and see if I can put Sport inserts in them too.

thanks for the info on the orange dampers... i really need to see the data or someone reviewing it with their swift springs before i can make a decision. i dont like fixed dampness... it's just a guessing game. this is why i was hoping they would come out with the koni yellows...

here's some info i found...

There is a Koni special that lasts until the end of May... that's the best price on Konis the whole year. That price is already reflected in our pricing.

When I get them in, I'll set them up our system.... but the lower end of your pricing range is where they'll be I think.
