Swift Springs Ride Quality?

Swift Springs Ride Quality?
OK, I know, lame grandpa question, but I was wondering how much of a penalty there is to a Fit Sport equipped with Swift springs over the stock setup? The Sport seems to have very minimal tolerance or filtering of bumps, and as much as I would like to tighten up the handling which has a lot of roll I'm not so certain I would approve of degrading the ride quality any further than it already is.

Well gramps they will stiffen the ride period. What few teeth I have left at 72 get rattled in my Fit on Swifts. If you want looks get them. If you want ride I would suggest not getting them.
The last month and half here has been below freezing. Between the Swifts and the stiff shocks the ride is not pleasant.

it will be jarring
what state are you in? If down south, you'll be fine as long as you're not going off paved roads, and if that's the case, the fit wasnt a good idea in the first place.
I live in NYC and everyone who gets in my car gets beat up by it, and liken it to riding in the Brooklyn Cyclone....which is my car's new nickname....
it's rough but worth the upgrade. I've driven 16 rentals and immediately notice the cheap suspension of some of them when going over bumps.
recently I've driven a scion tc and the the only thing I wish I had from it in my 09 was the sunroof and the engine.....
says alot.

If your not worried about lowering, but still want to improve handling and reduce body roll I would highly suggest installing a Progress rear sway bar. I installed one and I'm still on stock springs. I would say it reduced body roll by at least 1/3 to 1/2 of stock and didn't make a noticeable difference in ride quality. It's also cheaper than springs and much easier to install. It just involves jacking up the rear of the car and bolting it on. Like a lot of other people have said it is a great bang for the buck mod.
