Issue adjusting front coilover
I got a new car & the fit is going to my niece. She likes the coilovers but I wanted to adjust to a more friendly setup. I had the car leaning quite far foreward making it great on the highway but driveways are rough & it eats front tires. I want to raise the front but the lock collars are stuck. Any tips? I tried pb blaster & a rag/pipe wrench.

All weight off the suspension? Just one of the reasons I'm not a coil over fan, they don't like street grime and spooge getting on the threads. On my race cars I use a shock cover on the coil overs so they are easier to maintain, plus since I have to adjust them a lot they stay free..
A heat gun on the ring will expand it to help loosen it.

Thanks! I got frusterated andasked the shop at the end of my street. Turns out one of the mechanics was all about it. Got 2 tires, coilovers adjusted, engine checked over and alignment for $225. Tires alone were most of it.
