205/50r16 on my GE8
Hey Everyone!
Well, it was time to upgrade tires on the GE8 since 2 of the stock Dunlops developed bubbles in the sidewall. I just got done getting new Falken ZIEX 912 tires put on the Fit and all I can say is what a difference! Before, the car's suspension felt way to harsh when going over speed bumps or any low speed bump was like a sharp, jarring impact. With the new Falkens the car just feels more planted, stable, and the low speed bumps are hardly noticeable. I accidently approached a speed bump going a little faster than I liked to take them with the stock tires on and thought it was going to be a horrible experience like normal. Man was I wrong! I barely noticed the speed bump at all. Also, handling wise the car has become far more stable when traveling at freeway speeds, not as darty anymore. I was slightly worried that going with a 205 on the stock sport wheels would cause the tire to roll during hard cornering but that also doesn't seem to be the case. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend that when shopping for new tires you go with the 205's! Now if only my T1R springs would get here...........
. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Also pics will be forthcoming....

I had run-flat Dunlops on my old MINI and one of them developed a bubble, I think they've got a problem on their hands honestly. The thing about that tire was it was $338 to replace ONE
Luckily, I had insurance from Discount Tire and put the money towards an entire set of new tires (BFG KDW2's....horrible tires after about 10k, very loud!)
Lookking forward to the pics!
