Thanks for the reply, I thought about going down to a 15" wheel but I don't think it would work too well with the speedo etc....

lol... 16" will be perfect for you... i was on my blackberry when i posted this, i did'nt know if it was a GE or GD Just be sure that you have light wheels...
Edit: you could have kept same tire diameter, but with taller sidewall... but on a GE the sidewall would be to tall IMO... so 16" should be spot on!

I know the sidewall would be HUGE if I went with a 15" wheel. I just cant seem to find some wheels that I like for the ge, I don't know if I want alot of spokes or something with around 6 spokes, I know the rpf1 is a split 6 spoke!

They are pretty quiet on the freeway and that's due to the tread design and its ability to disipate water and snow. The DW, being more of a perf tire, has wider tread blocks, so its going to be a bit noiser for sure, but not too bad.

You guys talkin' Falken 615's and Star Specs, great tires for sure but with a 200-220 treadwear number I don't think the guy wants to replace his tires once a year....unless you've got the cash and even then, in the rain, those tires can't be that good, look at the tread design, especially the 615's!

The DWS' are pretty damn good tires and like I said, they're "Dragon tested" and this is coming from someone who's been down there 9x's in various cars, so I'd say I know a little something about what works and what doesn't work.

I know I said I didn't mind the tread life but the DW'S look like a really good buy and I also like their road hazard warranty!
