Need some help and Guidance here!
Ok so I am planning on some new wheels for my GE and i need the help of fellow GE people. I know there's many people on here running 15" wheels with beefy tires but most of them are on GD's.
So I am planning to buy 15" wheels in either a 7", 7.5" or 8" width. I would love the 8" width but i don't know how the clearance will be, which is where you guys come in.
The specs of the wheels are as follows, and all sizes will be wrapped in 205/55/15 <--this is not changing for right now so please dont suggest 205/50
15x7 +36
15x7.5 +42
15x8 +36
Pics would rock but if you have first hand experience with a wheel this size and offset on a GE please chime in! Thanks in advance guys!

If u're going smaller tyre's and wheels. Yes u'll gain acceleration, but ur speedometer is going to be off and u'll loose top end speed. The ECU will think u are going at 160km/h where in reality u're only going 148km/h.

The wider you go, the less offset you need. But the wider you go, the heavier the wheel...go wider for looks, narrower for performance, and make sure your wheels weigh less than the Sport factory wheel (16 inch) at 18-19 lbs...the base 15 inch wheel is 5 inches...and the sport for the GD was 15X6 inches...
I am running 195-60/15 Yokohama Avid Envigor tires at 20 pounds each with the 13 pound wheel, giving me 4-5 pound reduction per wheel and tire over the stock 16 inch wheels and tires...no change in speedometer...

well when it comes to the rear, im running 16x8+24 offset with 195-45-16, and i rub on dips and when i got peope on the car.. im planning to get my fenders rolled more but for the most part, ur offset shouldnt have that problem. but u being 8" wide.. u might rub... but here is how the rear is looking
as for the front im not sure but im thinking of getting bigger lips so i can have the same specs all around.. but hopefully more people would chime in
