The Often Repeated Questions

Hi Everyone!
Ok, I've been using the search button for the last 48 hours, can not find a definite answer, and have officially given up.

Here's the deal: I am lowered on Eibach Sportlines, I am using the stock 16'' wheels and tires, I rub on hard dips on the freeway and turning up an inclined surface over 10mph Ex: 90 degree turn while going down a parking garage ramp. I don't mind this minor rubbing.

The Question For the Almighty Experienced who can enlighten me:

1. Can I go 205/50 without any additional issues? or will I get a lot more rubbing...the rubbing I currently get does not bother me, just don't want more.

Thanks in advance, sorry for all those who always see tire questions, I am forever in your debt.

With the stock wheels, I see no reason why rubbing would get worse. I imagine you are hitting the top of the tire on part of the fender liner, which people mentioning trimming out of the way.

Eibachs are notoriously soft.

Awesome thanks! I figured so, I just couldn't confirm it. I do see some rub marks on the fender liner, I just need to take the wheel off and see exactly where its rubbing and trim it or heat it up and push it in while I'm in there...
