Tire HELP

My set up is a 2012 Honda Fit with Tein lowering springs and a set of Volk SE37 17x7.5 with 40mm offset and I'm torn between tire sizes. Should I run a 205/45 or 205/40 I'd love some input from guy running this set up or close to it.

Base your decision on the condition of the roads you frequent most. Those wouldn't last 3 days around here.

I don't have this set up but I did a ton of research.I think you will rub with 205/45 with 40 offset.

I would go 205/40 or 195/45 to be safe.I know the 195 is hard to find but you can get the S-drive in this size.

I looked at many different wheel/tire combos before deciding to keep my stock wheels and just upgrade the tires to 205/50/16

I'm dropped on Swifts with no rubbing. The GE8 is really sensitive to offset changes and the stock +53 is a safe bet to keep from rubbing.

I've got 17x7.5 +45 Enkei's and i'm running 205/45/17 Bridgestone Potenza 760 sports. Suspension is M7 Japan coilovers, with moderate ride height. I get a slight bit of rubbing in the rear under hard bumps, nothing terrible but still.

Quite honestly, I find 17x7.5 a terrible size for our cars. I'm actually moving back to a 16x7 here soon.
