Average Powder coating costs?

Ok i am just curious on what people have paid on powder coating their wheels…

I have 17x7 in alloy and I was quoted $150.00/wheel. does this sound about right?

$100- $150 per wheel for a reputable shop

I paid $100 per wheel to have a set for my 350z painted not powdercoated and I prefer paint to PC

Why? Just personal taste or some other reason?

1) The PC process is really invasive and requires subjecting the wheel to an extremely hot oven in order to bake in the powder

2) The depth of color especially in gloss black is way more rich with painting than PC

These are my babies, had them done 5 years ago and still look perfect
