3rd Gen GK Specific Fit Engine Modifications, Motor Swaps, ECU Tuning Sub-ForumThreads discussing engine mods/swaps/tuning for the third generation GK Honda Fit.
Welcome my dude, congrats on the upgrade! I highly recommend doing a search or browsing the sub-forums. There’s a ton of builds, photos and reviews!
To get you started, the most common CAI/SRIs lately seem the be the AEM SRI. HKS and Takeda also have variants. The stock intake, although restrictive draws air from the front just behind the grill. Check out the Sumole-style ram scoop to maintain more of a stock look. There’s also people modding Weapon-R ‘rain-gutter’ style CAIs with fog-light funnels for both CAI and ram air. There’s lots of debate about intake air temps and what not but there’s a ton of info if you look around in here.
As for exhausts, there’s a few non-custom options. Axle back options that are common are the HKS hi-power, and similarity styled Spoon and J’s racing variants. The HKS is the most affordable from what I’ve found. HKS also makes the cool-style which is a dual Center exhaust model. I’m personally saving up to pick up a Tanabe Medallion Touring exhaust, which has a quieter note and dual pipes. Though hard to find there are some used Bisimoto helmholtz resonators around, and some other custom mods people have done.
For exhaust B-Pipes depending on where in the world you are, the two most common ones I’ve seen are the Spoon and the J’s Racing models. Both look awesome, but are way out of my budget living in NA.
For downpipes theres two common ones I see, the J’s racing down pipe (which I think is cat less), and the RV6 downpipe (which comes with or without a cat). I personally bought an RV6 unit when I got my car, back when COVID wasn’t a thing, and it’s sitting waiting for my warranty to expire so I can pop it in.
Hope this is a start, from one newbie to another, welcome again to the community! Have fun browsing

I searched and found a pretty big bunch of FITters who after installing different types of CAI's, a lot of them went back to stock, plus a K&N drop in filter.... and what I did was modify the stock airbox and make it a bit more ..... efficient you may say...
I covered up all sound deadening holes and passages it has and changed the oem elbow (the one between MAF and TB), since i also made a spacer to use a bigger TB 😈 and the other intake mod i made was changing the OEM rubber part of the ram air for the sumole air cooler......
