My Pulse chamber is pretty loud. Much louder under load (power) than the vids show. It resonates a bit at 4000 or so. cruising speed, about 2500 or so is where the helmholtz tube is tuned, I'm assuming because the droning is tolerable at this frequency.

If I take this thing on a long road trip w/ the wife, the factory muffler is going back on. Pull the wheel and swap it out, maybe 20 minutes. This thing is just for ripping around, having fun, and pissing people off

It does sound good. I can't tell if it is faster though. It looks better. No giant fart can hanging out.

Your short review is like gold to some here. I have been wondering what someone thought of this that had it on their car. I was almost moved to purchase it since I'm waiting for an aftermarket muffler now with a 2 month eta.

BTW: What diameter is Bisimoto pulse chamber?

I've decided on the Tanabe Medallion Touring exhaust for my Fit, but the word from one of their US dealers (The Source) is that they won't be available until August…

On the Fence

Bought a Fit this past weekend! Super excited to start bolting on a few things...I've been thinking about getting the Bisimoto...I'm afraid it may be to drone-y and loud though. Anyone bought it, the HKS or the Tanabe and would care to comment on them? Thanks guys and gals.

Sold my Bisi, bought the Tanabe. Absolutely zero regrets.

I like the Bisimoto, but I kept the OE exhaust too. If I plan to drive more than an hour in stop and go traffic with passengers, I'll swap it out. It's pretty easy. Pull the right rear wheel for access and two 12mm nuts. 15-20 min or so. It doesn't really drone much w/ the cruise control on at highway speeds.

The Bisi is the loudest for sure because it's not a muffler. It's essentially just a straight pipe that replaces the muffler.

To loud for you? I'm thinking I'll probably go for the Tanabe, the sale price of the Bisi is making it super tempting though.

For sure. I'd be looking to just slap it on and never have to worry about swapping the exhaust. I'm thinking the Tanabe is probably the better choice for me, but the sale price of the Bisi is making it super tempting right now haha.
