Myxal Reducing Diameter Exhaust
**Update 3-21-15**
I decided to change my B-pipe from 2.5" to 2". When I tested my 2" (J's Cat Delete) to 2.5" B-pipe to 2.25" resonator/muffler setup, my 1/4 mile time dropped under the same weather conditions at the same track.
2"-2.5"-2.25"
1/4 mile time 15.5@88mph
1.75" Stock cats - 2.5" crush bent B-pipe, 2.25" Resonator, 2.25" Hi Flo Pro Max Muffler
1/4 mile times 15.3-15.4@90-91mph.....with a best of 15.2
Here's is what my setup looks like now. The 2" J's racing pipe to 2" shop pipe transition is very crude. I still have a piece of the 2.5" piping in place (EWW). This is only being done for testing purposes. I'll be ordering a full 2" pipe soon.

This is a picture of the nasty transition. Throttle response still feels better. I'm on the fence about how the full acceleration feels though.

I actually like how this 2" B-pipe looks like. I went to an old Meineke shop I used to go at. My guy at the Midas shop I go to is on vacation this week.
The transistion from 2" B-pipe to 2.25" piping isn't too bad either. I'll take it for now. I'll be ordering up a full 2" B-pipe back pipe soon. This is only for testing purposes.
I don't think the 2" J's Racing cat delete is the problem. So what I did today is have a shop reduce the 'B' pipe down from 2.5" to 2" to see how it feels.
1) Low end torque felt like it increased slightly,
2) The sound reduced considerably (I need to test it but it was 90 decibels testing it to the shop),
3) Highway mileage increase from 31.2 average to 36 average
4) I noticed from 6000rpm to 6500rpm speed increase was crazy. It's just an observation from testing this over and Over and OVER again.
I'll be bracket racing at Atco Raceway tomorrow at the Family Grocery Getter race. It's an $800 1st prize if enough cars show. They have an Import Vs Domestic too but 1st prize is only $400. I can't test the 'Myxal Two-step' during bracket racing but it'll be interesting to see my 1/4 mile time by just flooring the car. I'll try to test the Myxal Two-Step at Atco Raceway on Tuesday and Cecil County this upcoming Friday. Hopefully it'll be better than my previous 2" to 2.5" to 2.25" setup.
Further out, I'm ordering up a 2" catpipe back to muffler setup asap.
This is the year to reach 14 second 1/4 mile times in an N/A Fit. We can do this! This is all until then.
