Can anyone tell me if it is possible to mount a motorcycle carrier (for a bike weighing less than 400 pounds) on a Honda Fit?

 

It is possible, but that is a lot of stress on a subframe not designed to handle it. If you have to haul a motorcycle, perhaps towing a small trailer would be a better option.

 

Most motorcycle carriers will attach to a trailer hitch.

Trailer hitches for the Fit are rated at 200 lbs max. (Class I). That won't work with a motorcycle carrier.

You will need the trailer hitch and a small trailer. You can tow 2000 lbs with the fit so that's more than enough for a trailer and a motorcycle.
