I actually just used a 4"x60" roll of the 3M Scotchgard Protection Film - as I liked the fact that it's clear. I am hoping it will be good enough to prevent nicks and such from putting things into the trunk. It also gave me some practice using that material as I am thinking about using it on the hood of the car as some others have done.

I looked at it briefly, then saw the photo which makes it look poorly fitted, and passed on it for the bumper applique instead. I, too, thought about trying to put some PPF down, but I don't have enough confidence in my abilities to apply it well to try it just yet (though I still want to put some on my doors...).
