Ah, I forgot about that. One of the dealers I bought form includes that, but no painting, and there is a time limit.

I just found this picture posted on another thread (mud flaps? Anyone?), and thought it was an interesting approach to the side moldings. It is a Red Fit with what appears to be black body side moldings! The pictures are from "PaFitter", near the end of the thread.

I thought that would be a good idea - different colored molding. It would be better if they were easily interchangeable.

That red/black looks nice.

Yes they are BLACK side moldings. I had same Milano red on a 2009 Fit with the red molding and they disappeared into the door with the same color. I really don't like monotone colorings of modern cars,so I decided to break it up with the black. Older cars of days gone by had either black or chromed side moldings and was that way for many years until someone decided everything has to be the same color on cars. My Honda salesman wanted pictures when I installed them and since he has sold several black sets to the red,yellow,and white 2015 Fit owners.


Not sure why my post and pictures were moved? Sometimes this site defies logic.
