HRV Shark Fin Antenna for the 2015 GK Fit?

Will it be possible to purchase+retrofit an HRV shark fin antenna for our 2015 Fit? It's an upgrade I would love to have.

the shark fin, the rims, the color. your whole setup looks great. i am concerned that the non oem antenna will have reception problems.

I don't think I've ever even turned on the "radio" since I bought the car! I use BT streaming off my iPhone... So no idea how reception is impacted...

I have a VG antenna too. No issues at all with reception.

39150-T7W-A01ZE - this is the part# for the Crystal black pearl version. Should fit the 2015 FIT no problem.

Like others, i never listen to the radio anymore, too much crap on. BT on my phone via Pandora 99% of the time.

I also have the visual garage antenna.

And like the others, I usually use bluetooth or listen to the music I have on my flash drive in the car.

But I did check out the radio after putting the antenna on. Everything sounded perfect. Just as good with the stock radio.

Also, keep in mind, I have the EXL which also has HD radio and XM. Both of those worked equally good as well. And I have the built in nav. GPS seemed uneffected.

How did it connect to the antenna? And to the roof?

Same connector for the radio, tied back the connector for the satellite radio since there is no connection for it. Had to drop head liner and get behind right rear pillar cover (replace a one time use clip) to make connection. Not easy.

I don't suppose you have any pictures of the install/result? I'm interested in doing this but if it involves more than unscrewing the old one and slapping the new one on then it's probably not worth it to me.

No pictures of doing it, took a help to make not to kink the liner. Also need the nut for mounting.
