Armrest/Console Cover Removal

I'd like to rake off the armrest/console cover. I see two screws back there, but I don't think that's the way. I'd like to make a removable cover for it.

HOW? How do we, "just get the JDM armrest." I want this more than I want my next breath.

The console and armrest/ storage compartment are all one piece. I like the setup. I'd just like to be able to make a good cover for it because it looks like a high wear item. If I could remove it, I could bring it to an upholsterer.
