I need to get the car tinted fast as the warmer months are coming and it is already getting hot in the car. I stopped by one shop and they quoted me a install price from $260 for the cheap stuff to $750 for the good stuff. That seems stupid expensive to me.

Anyone have experience with a particular brand and any price associated with it?

I see no reason to spent $200 or more on a tint job.

Am I out of touch with current prices today?

Is $300 really a fair price for a good window tint these days?

 

The difference in price seems pretty steep. What do they consider the cheap stuff? I was quoted $220 for the cheap stuff and $320 for ceramic. I can't decide if I want to spend that extra hundred or not....

 

check groupon, there seems to be a lot of tint places using it. One near me is offering Llumar ceramic for $200 with the groupon, normally $350

 

The cheap stuff was a dyed type with more expensive stuff being metallic and then ceramic types. I just don't want purple windows two years or 8 years from now if I buy the cheap stuff.

 

I've never used groupon, but for a savings like that it would be worth a gander. Thanks

 

If you know how to mount tint I recommend buy pre-cut tint
