I just got a new GE Fit and would like to tint it due to the crazy hot weather we have here in southern CA. My preliminary research shows the 3M crystalline tint as being one of the best so I asked a couple 3M authorized dealers in the area for quotes on all 10 windows (A pillar pair, front windows, back windows, trunk windows, and rear window). The price they are quoting me is roughly $850 which seems a bit high considering other threads on tints shows people paying $200, $300 max, even for nice ceramic ones. Is the high price due to the crystalline film? If this is the norm for this specific film, I have no qualms paying for it, I just wanted to see what other fit owners paid for top of the line films.

Edit: Another 3M authorized tint place just quoted me $500 for the crystalline, so it seems the prices vary drastically. I'd still like to hear how much all of you paid for your high end tints

 

i run llumar's top of the line ceramic on my GTI. it is a night/day difference in how cool it is with and without the tint. $500 otd installed all glass less windshield.
