2017 Honda Fit EX - how to program 2 new FOBs
Hi Folks
I just purchased a 2017 Honda Fit EX with 10.8 K miles on it.
The previous owner has only one FOB, so I purchased 2 OEM FOBs on eBay for $118 (used, but original).
Does anyone know the steps to program the FOBs for this vehicle?
Local Honda dealer gave me some BS about the FOBs had to be sold by them (even though they are tested OEM FOBs)

I did find out that BatteriesPlus (in Ann Arbor, MI, USA) DOES programs FOBs at $100 per FOB: https://www.batteriesplus.com/store-...&storecode=389

First, I am not speaking in any capacity for my company. There are multiple franchisees and your experience may vary.
As stated above, Batteries + Bulbs will have the equipment to program the fobs. You will need all keys you plan to use with you as the procedure, depending on model and how it is programmed, can delete all of your old keys. They can also cut the key for you as well if it's a combination key/remote or if you just need the emergency key cut on a push-button model. The fobs themselves can also be purchased in-store if you'd rather just do everything in one shot. Just because it looks identical doesn't mean the remote will work, verify that your new remote is for that model car, as even if appearance-wise they are the same they may transmit on different frequencies and be incompatible.
Prices will vary depending on model and location. Here they are less than posted above but it's entirely dependent on market, so call around.
