In a thread like this?
I assume I'm the anomaly.
That is, if the OP popped in for a single dose of opinions and then never checks back?
That just is probably indicative that they have a much richer and fuller and diverse life. Good for them, that they don't have time to share a running saga about their dent repair.
Sure some common courtesy might of been nice. Close the loose ends.
But I can't really care too much, or have any angst about a situation like this.
I mean who has the bigger problem?
The newbie who joins and disappears with only a handful of posts?
Or the moniker that has 2000+ posts?
Really, I have to tell myself to get a life.
I'm not going to compound the dysfunction by complaining about dead threads.
Participation and amount of participation is purely voluntary.

No, you're not the anomaly.

I don't advise limiting posts for newcomers or anything similar. When we say that a newcomer doesn't have the right to make one post and then leave, we are restricting how the forum should be participated in.

People participate as they are willing and able. There should not be limits or restrictions on their participation.

One and out? No problem with me.
