i've read alot of consumer report statistics since the GK came out and they mostly rate the fit's mileage at 33mpg , mine has been consistently 35 to 36mpg mixed driving .
it's a 6mt , also have an AEM intake set-up along with a tanabe medalian axle back muffler ( don't know if that is affecting mileage one way or the other ) anyone getting similar
mileage ? also have 195/55 15 inch rubber on the car . it's been a good running car

Since I've owned the vehicle, I've averaged 41.893 MPG. This is hand calculated not, the onboard display. Even after switching to 205/50/16 tires it didn't have any big difference. Here are my last 3 fill-ups before the lockdown: 42.898, 45.137, 42.837 Best tank so far has been 47.848
Those aren't "hypermiling" numbers, just my regular daily commute. 2015 CVT with sumole, k&n filter and HKS silent hi-power axleback
My LX CVT is 100% stock. I keep track of my calculated mileage once in a while, only when I complete a tank to tank fill up. The Honda display is not accurate. I have no passenger, rear seats removed, the undercover "splash guard" removed permanently. I average greater than 40 mpg since most of my driving is used for personal trips. I know if there is a head wind along the open highway it is tough to get 40 mpg. But, with a tail wind, I can get over 45 mpg. I love this car for its space and gas economy.

alot of highway miles ? my fit will mid 40's on the highway
Yup I live in a rural area with a 42+ mile commute typically. On lock down 100% telework right now so have not driven the Fit in weeks. Last fill-up was on 3/23 @ $1.71. Last week I passed my normal gas station while getting groceries and it was $1.25

I take advantage of the situation. When gas is cheap and roads are relatively clear I drive my Fit everyday to get to know the city. I plan on another 1300 mile RT this week. I don't work but my 2017 CVT Fit has 56K miles already.

I know this is far from the only factor -- but do we think they have the Eco button pressed when doing their mileage test?
P.S. We picked up our Orange 2020 EX yesterday, ordered (if that's the right word -- they had to get the color from another dealer) right before the lockdown. Old car is a 2010 base Fit, so that button got our attention.
I'm averaging 41.0 mpg as measured at fill-up (miles driven and gas used) as the on-board runs about 2 mpg higher than actual. So far it appears my new 2019 is still breaking in but city use and temperature are the biggest factors in overall mpg. Most importantly I use a mix of TopTier and "low cost" regular unleaded 87 octane and the TopTier appear to not matter. I do run Techron 1000 miles before the next oil change.

What program are using for that analysis? It looks like a Minitab competitor.
I built a google spreadsheet that calculates basically the same stuff. I'm seeing a delta of anywhere between 1.5 and 3.5 mpg optimistic between the vehicle mpg readout and calculated mpg.

I'm using JMP by SAS. I run stats on pretty much everything at work.
My 2019 LX is stock - no mods other than floor mats and a USB stick for playing musak.
Hi Guys,
I recently took a short run along the Rio Grande river, about 67 miles, with 55 mph limit and flat but curvy roads. So this mileage shown is real, but under really good conditions. Sorry for the fuzzy image.
I get average 41 with 0w-20
43.5 with 0w-16
oem wheels and tires
AEM intake and hks exhaust
could be winter/summer gas
could be quarantine no traffic
I drive 65mph max
I've updated my database of my GK Fit's gas mileage now that we've had some more colder weather events. Here's what my latest MPG figures say:
* mileage suffers when the temperatures drop below about 60-70 F (inflection point in the non-linearity of the model)
* I've averaging about 41.0 mpg using regular unleaded 87 RON (not TopTier) using ECON mode, 0W20 full synthetic
* Mileage is influenced by driving habits (mine don't change), outside temperature, % City driving
< not by oil life, Octane, or odometer reading (so far - at 22K miles)
* Gas mileage model is shown below as an infographic
* When my Empty Gas light comes on - I may only have 18-20 miles of driving at 41 mpg Model estimate (coefficients of the linear equation)

Hand calculating mine for the last 4000 miles or so, getting 35.6 mpg here in hilly east TN, not much hwy driving. 41 is easy on t long hwy trip.....driving 6 spd LX here with the Sumho (spelling?), K&N drop-in, Tanabe Medallion Touring (or whatever they call it). Added the Progress RSB after I got it, it's a fun enough lil economical car
I have almost 61000 miles on my 19 Sport.
Runs like a champ.
Average mpg is around 36 mpg with catted rv6, stock b pipe, hks high flow muffler, Aem short ram intake, p2r throttle body spacer, 56 mm max bore tb, konig dial in 15s, and rear seats removed.
Great car! It might be a slow car but it's definitely the most economical car on the road, hands down. I'll take that any day for a daily.
