Looking to buy some rims in the at future. Honestly I don’t know much about rims. My car came with the 16x7 wheels and I’d like to stick to the same size so I can put my current tires on them for now. Don’t know much about offset. What is it and what do all you recommend off set wise for my 2016 fit ex? I do plan on lowering the vehicle later in life. Not much tho. Maybe an inch or inch in a half tops. Thanks in advanced.
also if u guys have any recommendations on brands of wheels I’d appreciate it. Or even some dope pics of what u guys are running on ur gk5s. Thank you
I've had Konig's flow-formed wheels on my GK5 for a year now, and I absolutely LOVE them! They're lightweight, durable, and they add a hint of style to the Fit that I really like. Currently, I'm riding on 16x8 Konig Dekagrams in a +35 offset to fill out the wheel wells a little better and run wider tires as well. My set of wheels only cost $580, which is very affordable compared to other wheel setups out there. Fitment Industries and CarID have plenty of other options as well.
RPF-1 are close to the lightest thing you can get, without spending way more than I wanted to. These are 16x7, 43mm offset. The fronts rub a bit if you're lowered but that can be fixed with camber bolts.
I just put a set of Motegis on another car, they're cheaper than the Enkeis but still reasonably light. Unfortunately I don't see this model in the right size for a Fit, but TireRack shows some others in black or silver that would work.

@hasdrubal how lowered are you? I’ve heard a lot about those rims. I’m honestly not to worried about weight. Mainly looks. I got the cvt auto so I’m not looking to race or be flying around on some back roads and curvy turns.
@BMWguy22 honestly I’m not 100% sure they are 16x7. I googled 2016 Honda Fit ex stock rims and that’s what came up was some 16x7s. I’ll attach a photo of my car and rims.
I don’t know much about rims. I’m completely new to modding. Honestly this is the first car I’ve owned worth doin anything to.
Megan racing springs, I've heard mixed results with some of their other stuff on Civics, but the springs seem to be ok. Most of the reason I went with them was they were cheaper than Swift with similar numbers. I'm thinking now that I should have gone with coilovers, not for the corner weighting, but because the damping on the Koni Orange shocks I got is a little too harsh. More expensive shocks tend to have better valving, but the Konis were still a definite improvement over stock.
