2.25 straight pipe with rv6 catted downpipe

Holy Shizzz this thing is loud with no muffler or resonator! 😂😂😂
Now all I need is 100 more whp and match the performance with the sound..
I should enter a bass competition with my exhaust.

So all you have is the cat for resistance?
Yeah, that'll get very annoying, very quick (on you and others around you).

Just be thankful you don't have to commute with your car - and if you do, I feel sorry for your ear drums!

Yeah lol I just wanted to see how loud it would be with a straight pipe. I'm going to put a magnaflow high flow resonator on it to tame down the sound a little bit. If it's still loud I'll just bolt back up the stock b pipe and hks hi flow muffler. My guess would be that it's near 100 db rn. It was louder than this Harley that I passed today. 😆

Send a sound video. I've just purchased a 2 to 1 header that has a 2.5" collector, and all mandrel bent 2.5" tubing, plus a 1320 Company 2.5" muffler. This setup does not have EGR, and will not have a cat. We'll see how loud it is with the extra 100whp also ....

So sick man! How much have you spent to build your motor so far? Can you list a price sheet for us? I'd love to build a all motor high compression 1.5 L series, but I'd need to swap to a manual transmission first.

My car was the same way. Straight pipe with RV6. It was super annoying so I lost the straight pipe and went with an HKS muffler out the back. Still loud and sounds much better.

RZCrew GK5 2 in 1 Super circuit header

Here's the header. It says 2.5" collector, and it is... but the inside diameter is 1.875"

Maybe it's acting like a long tube header since the pulses of the exhaust will combine better...

Here it is next to my RV6 down pipe. That inside diameter is 2.25". I'm going to throw in the RZCrew and hope for the best. If i don't hit 200hp on the first dyno pull, I'll chop off the RV6 at the neck and go 2.5" from there...

In Miami?

I wish... there's a place called h-car in San Antonio. I'm going to check them out. Moving there next month. I have to do 200 break in miles before tuning. Make the exhaust. I'm running out of time. Really wanted church in harbor city cuz i started this build in Vegas... but this dream has been a long time coming

RV6 quality is much nicer. And closer to OEM spec. Not sure about that other one...

I put a 2.25 magnapack hi flow resonator on the back like you would a silencer on a gun. It worked and sounds much better!
