Maybe it's acting like a long tube header since the pulses of the exhaust will combine better...

Here it is next to my RV6 down pipe. That inside diameter is 2.25". I'm going to throw in the RZCrew and hope for the best. If i don't hit 200hp on the first dyno pull, I'll chop off the RV6 at the neck and go 2.5" from there...

im bringing this thread back from a coma but im doing some fiddling with my GK and was wondering if the RV6 is indeed 2.25 ID….

thanks in advance for the info!!

I sold it so long ago but I think it was 2.25" The b pipe was like 1.875 though. I never got a big b pipe. I did do a 2.5" exhaust when I built the motor, but I never finished breaking it in before deciding to go turbo. Hopefully you see that exhaust in the next year or so...
Still working on it...

i have a Medallion axle back in my '19 Fit , tried the 2.25 B pipe , had to add an extra piece of carpeting under my trunk liner to quiet down the droning . the car did feel stronger from a stop
but somehow felt somewhat lacking over 70 . i put the stock B pipe back on , kept the extra piece of carpeting though . removing the cat with a strait pipe must be quite loud

LOL no cats with a straight pipe is like driving the world's slowest Harley 😂
