HFP Fit Sports Suspension Kit (08W60-T5A-100)

We got our HFP Sports Suspension Kit in last week and I finally had a couple dry days to install it all. A great price at just under $700 shipped to our door. The car is a white 2018 Fit Sport with CVT trans. This kit is very complete and comes with instructions and new Honda mounting hardware. Even bigger bonus that the the new parts colors match our car's factory colorway. I also noticed that our stock struts were made by Sachs. And the new HFP were made my Showa. I only bought these because the Mugen (also made by Showa) were discounted and sold out in Japan so they were no longer available. I started with the rears which involves some interior panel removed. The rear struts and springs actually go in really easy. The fronts are a bit more involved. The top strut nut is under the cowl and there is very little room to work with. And makes it very easy to strip the center out if not careful. Luckily mine came out with just a bit of trouble and headache The front install was pretty easy once the older and dated parts came out. Overall the car was lowered about 3/4" and it rides much stiffer. Which is what I really wanted. I didn't want full bodied coilovers on the car as I use it daily for work. Plus I'm not into the slammed car life so this is perfect for us. And some 17" Mugen wheels are next so that will help fill in some of that fender gap also. I highly recommend this kit for anyone that is more into daily use along with spirited style driving on the weekends. Our car also has a Progress rear sway bar and Tanabe front upper and lower suspension bars that we previously installed.

Ditto to that. It looks great! Let us know how it corners compared to the original parts.

@NWCH I like it. Anyone know if this will work on a 2017? I would assume so. I never knew this existed and I need it. EDIT: seems like it will work on all GK5.
@NWCH How long have you had that progress sway bar on there? I had one for a little while but felt the ride was a little rough and took away what little independence the torsion bar offered; and was worried about long term damage. I'm also curious about the Tanabe upper and lower bars you mentioned.

What about them? There is no long term damage from running braces and sway bars. That is the point, too make the car stiffer. These cars have bad body roll and now the car feels planted instead of loose in the corners.

Night and day difference in handling. Not super stiff and body roll is very controlled now. I approve. A must buy for the price.

Your local Honda dealer can easily order it for you.

Does that one part number come with all 4 corners?

I usually buy my parts from this local dealer that has an online shop. They're usually way cheaper than anywhere else.
