HFP Suspension

Hfp
I have the full HFP kit on my car except the wheels (still in the boxes) because I have lightweight 15x7 Enkei RPF1 wheels with 195/60 Firestone Firehawk AS tires (29.5 lbs total per wheel/tire). I am 63 years old and I find the ride to be totally acceptable. The 15” 60 series tires are obviously more forgiving than something lower profile. I love the HFP suspension, the car sits a touch lower and handles beautifully. I can definitely tell the ride is stiffer, but it rides way better than you would think, given the increased spring rates.

Spacecoast Tardis - this is slighlty off-topic but thank you for posting the above photo of the HFP kit.
I too selected the Enkei RPF1 in 15x7 (ET 41mm). With Hankook Kinergy PT 737's in 195/60 15 my set is 27.5 lbs per wheel/tire.
I work in a medical clinic and confirmed the Enkei's were 9.5 lbs each as advertised. Tire-rack lists tire weights, and I've never known how accurate those might be. Most tires in the size listed 20 lbs, the Hankooks listed 17 lbs. Two of the 4 mounted tires speed-balanced without needing weights, and the other two have just a few stick-ons.
I do believe that (sidewall stiffness and tire pressure being equal) the extra sidewall of 15's does confer noticeable ride comfort. I think 16's "look" about perfect, but made the choice here for weight, comfort, and (tire cost) when going with the 15's.

I got my HFP suspension installed. It rides so much nicer now. More like how Honda should have upgraded the Sport from the start. Stiff but not super bad for daily use. Nothing bone jaring like coilovers. I recommend them.

The HFP suspension lowers the car 1/4" to 1/2".
The lightweight wheels really make a difference in the acceleration of the car. I have never understood people spending money a big heavy wheels that make the car slower.

Thanks for the info @Spacecoast Tardis the minimal drop is perfect, I don't want to lower the car, just firm up the ride a bit, and better rebound damping. I agree on the wheels. Lighter is definitely better.
