L15b7

Anyone think that our mounts would support the l15b7? I was thinking of swapping the cvt version into my car. I think that would be a fun setup with the paddle shifters.

There's a GD with a L15B7 but as far as I'm concerned it's custom mounts. But heck, mounts would be the least of my worries lol.

You haven't seen this thread?

They talk a good game, but it's been three years and no actual progress.

There’s talk of them making the harness now. You can contact Hasport for mounts but you might be using a stand alone ECU.

I know, if you read farther back in that thread I posted a bunch of info I found on ECU/dash options, axles, exhaust- mostly for the K swap they were talking about. I hope they succeed and get the product out there for people to enjoy. At this point it would be a real surprise, though.

Hahaha is that a front aerodynamic spoiler? ...and definitely not road legal front bumper. Dude that thing must RIP! Crazy South East Asians and their insane mods. Love it!

I don’t know what standalone ECU they’re running, but yeah that certainly makes things easier for the swap. Pretty fun hearing that turbo screaming, it sounds like it winds up quick and stays at that rpm, so you could probably up the turbo size and boost for more insane power. I want to drive it!

if we can one day road legally do that swap, gonna be fun times for us GK owners.
