Hey everyone! I just got a 2015 Fit LX with ~57k miles on it. Pretty excited about it and already loving it! The extent of my car maintenance "expertise" is oil changes and bulb replacements, but I'm wanting to learn more about my car and take proper care of it! I've been stalking the forums for a bit, so apologies if this has been answered.
1. Previous owner kept detailed oil changes and tire rotations logged. I didn't see transmission fluid change, so I will be doing that asap. Anything else I should look for (new to the Honda world as well. Valve adjustments?)?
2. Looking inside the car, I noticed 2 areas where there are threads but no bolts. First is near the engine dip stick. Other is under the air filter (attached photo). Anything I should be concerned?
Congrats on the new to you Fit! There are some threaded holes that don’t have anything in them, thats normal. I can’t tell what the first photo is, but the second photo I see being used to put on the RS trim engine cover if you want to dish out for one. A lot of people ended up just using that as a mounting point for catch cans.
Anywho, welcome and hope you have fun doing maintenance and upgrades on your new car!
CVT? Easy to change the CVT fluid. Drain and fill, 3.6 quarts. The CVT has a drain plug, a "fill" plug on the side of the transmission at the front of the car. If you have a long funnel or remove the airbox, there is a plug on top of the transmission you can remove and fill at.

Thanks! Glad to know it isn't anything, I got a little worried!

I've been watching an unhealthy amount of videos, and it does looks 'oil-change easy'! Thanks Jorb!
