I purchased a 2015 Honda Fit EX manual on 12/23/14. I just installed a Tanabe Medallion axel back muffler. Fit has 103,300 miles. I'm 66 years old. Is there something wrong with me?

I'm 66 too, so I feel obliged to say no.

We'll be off on our 5th 5k mile trip soon in our 2015 Fit EX. We've been everywhere in it east of Wyoming. We will be adding Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado this time!

So we're a little nuts, too.

Randy Pobst just turned 64 and raced up Pikes Peak this weekend, so no. Keep on doing what you enjoy doing.

I say no as well....bought our 5 spd manual LX '15 CPO in '16, put the Tanabe on it, a Progress rear sway bar, heavier shift knob, and drop in K&Ns, it's been a fun reliable car.....all that I want or need

Did you mean to say 6 speed or have you been driving all these years without 6th gear?

LOL!!!!! Yes, yes, meant six spd, my wife's Forte has a five....thanks for pointing that out. It's a bummer they stopped selling new ones in the US, but....I don't really care for the looks of the new ones overseas......NOW, if the tires the previous owner put on it ever wear out, I can replace them with something just a bit meatier and I'm done other than with routine maint. I basically retiring now (waiting for SS approval), so next set of tires will last me a lifetime....heh

With all the trips you have under your belt, do trust your gas mileage computer? I don't.

If you're asking me, I don't really pay attention to its accuracy given it's so cheap to fuel. I'd guess it's optimistic by an mpg or two based on other threads here.

. Sounds about right…yet still pretty good, for a normally aspirated non-hybrid

Mine is consistently 0.5 MPG on the optimistic side, according to my math.

Im 42.... When i grow up.... I wanna be like you!!!!
This is my 2017 "slightly 😈😈😈 modded" GK
Mods so far:
-Sumole air cooler
-Drop in k&n air filter
-RV6 catted header/collector
-2¼" "B" pipe (will do "mandrel bend" if it works)
-Tanabe Medallion axle back
-CRZ BuddyClub short Shifter
-Acuity shifter cable bushings
-Acuity accel. pedal reloc. bracket
-Acuity solid shifter bushings
-KTuner V2
-Fabricated EGR delete plates

Intake mods...

-Covered up all sound deadening holes on oem airbox to force all air through intake to the throttle body
-k&n drop in filter

Fun part...

Got ahold a used but nice condition CR-V throttle body and since it WON'T fit the oem intake manifold a friend of mine and I fabricated an aluminum spacer to adapt it...

-I also disassembled the oem elbow from the airbox and used a 63mm x 70mm 90 degree elbow since that is the "bottleneck" of the tiny intake....

SIDE NOTE:
i haven't been able to dyno it, but... the "butt dyno" feels pretty good after the mods

@kaku_gk5 on instagram for more pics and mods
