CVT Fluid Needed
CVT Fluid Needed
A few years ago, I bought CVT fluid from Amazon, but they don't have it now. I tried several online sources, but they couldn't verify that what they sell would work in a 2015 Fit. If the container says it's Honda CVT Fluid, is that good enough? Aside from the dealer, where can I buy this?
EDIT: Quick turnaround. Now Amazon lists it - at $21.22 per quart. I'm not going to pay that!
It's 08200-9006. OEM Parts Source lists it for $5.76. That's too cheap. I've seen too many scams online. Autohaus AZ has it for $12.99, but they say it doesn't fit my 2015 Fit EX. Walmart is selling one quart for $31.07. : )

No because Honda may have had several different CVT fluids over the years not all of which would be compatible with the Fit CVT.
Buy the Honda CVT fluid which you need from your local Honda dealer and stop all this running around. You only need less than 4 quarts and you only change it every few years so this just isn't something you want to waste a lot of time on especially since you might not even be sure what an online seller will send you.

Thanks! You'd think they could standardize a bit more with their fluids. I'm going to buy from the dealer - maybe a mail-order dealer.
EDIT: I ordered four quarts from Honda Automotive Parts.com. $44.49 delivered. Amazon is selling it for $15/qt. : )
