I've never heard of it, but a quick search got me this thread where the OP had some testing done and nothing improved-

From the spyderchat guy, it's not only composed of flammable solvents, the percentages listed have an enormous range of variability. While I can see how putting solvents through the fuel system might help the injectors get cleaned a bit, and maybe get some carbon off the valves, I don't see how they would avoid being burned up by running the engine. And if they're consumed on the combustion stroke, there shouldn't be anything left to dissolve buildup in the cat. I don't see how any chemical could do any work on the cat unless it's sprayed into the exhaust with the precat o2 sensor. Would need to make a weird adapter to do that, though.
