yellowing on orchid white mk3 under top windscreen/windshield seal

any other orchid white mk3 owners noticed this uv yellowing under the top rubber seal on the top of the windscreen/windshield?

about 4 inches long on the drivers side and just about coming in on the passenger side faintly about the same length and white in the middle

i dont want it getting any worse to the point of paint fail and rust around the windscreen and polish isnt getting it off

i wouldnt have thought uv would effect under the rubber seals

Are you sure that "UV yellowing" is not just the unpainted surface?

Exactly

You have to understand, these cars (and many other economy cars) are all built to cost.
If a manufacturer can save $0.50 from not painting under the area that's usually covered by a gasket or seal, multiply that by millions of cars and you have a substancial savings.
Appling that principle to other aspects of these cars, and you'll understand why Honda is able to sell them with so much tech, at such a relatively low cost.

Also keep an eye out on your paint. I recently had my rear spoiler repainted under the extended warranty on paint for WOP vehicles:
