Fuse Pulling 2017 Fit flat towing
Fuse Pulling 2017 Fit flat towing
Hi all and thanks for welcoming me to the Fit Forums. I did research to find the answer regarding pulling fuses when flat towing my 2017 Fit and got a grab bag of answers. Wondering how many folks that have/had a fit and flat towed actually pulled the fuses?
I've read you don't need to if you pull it less than 8 hours and also read some folks don't pull them at all.... just make sure the radio is off and nothing is plugged into any auxiliary ports. I purchased a bypass that has an on off switch but was unable to get it to fit or work
correctly.
Any thoughts and ideas would be greatly appreciated

I have a 2016 Fit with the auto trans. I was wondering the same but then figured out the transmission oil pump was on the input shaft. I didn't want to burn up an internal bearing so I just started it and put it in neutral and let it idle while I pulled it down the road. Went from OH to AZ and back one problem. After pulling away at some point the fit's doors auto lock. I needed the key to get in when I stopped.
