Dead battery then bad jump then no radio.
Dead battery then bad jump then no radio.
My friend's 2017 Fit has a power drain and requires repeated JUMPS to get going. Recently she bungled the jumpers and killed her car. Radio and Door lockers were out, I replaced a fuse to get the door locks working, but radio has no power.
Is it Fuse #14 on the 3rd gen Fit for the radio?
What is killing this car? It has the larger battery, alternator runs 14+.

After 2 days of searching for I solution to my problem, I finally solved it.
After disconnecting the battery to install a new radio the following symptoms surfaced after reconnection:-
· Keyless FOB would not lock/unlock the doors
· Manually locking the doors from the driver’s position works, but not the back door will lock or unlock
· Lights not working
· Radio dead
· Car does not start
· Green light flashing on the Start/ Stop button at the top part
· NOTE:- The hazards do work.
SOLUTION:
Hold the FOB against the start/stop button and press the start / stop button. Does it start /stop. (This also works for a flat battery on the FOB)
Open the fuse box in the engine bay (passenger side) and look for fuse (# 21? blue) Back Up Main 15 A. It is probably blown. As an emergency, I replaced it with the daytime running lights 15 A fuse as I had none of the mini fuses.
Note my Fit is an RHD Japanese import, so the numbers might not match.
