Question Better cornering and handling mods?

Hey!

Currently have a:
RSB (17mm) Hardrace
185/60/15 Goodyear; 15x6.5 +40 Rota; *might upsize to 195/55/16*

What mods do I need to make my GK handle better?
Coilovers are out of the question because of my location (High humps, rough roads, steep roads).

I'm planning on buying a Front Sway Bar and a Front Strut Bar but I've seen comments that Front Sway Bar doesn't do anything and it basically makes it back to stock with the RSB, same with the Front Strut Bar. Is this true?

Thanks!

Front strut bar will be a big improvement. It almost feels like when you install proper stiffer lowering springs for the first time and notice how responsive the car is.

i think because of the front weight bias on the fit a heavier front bar would be an improvement . i put one on the front of my '02 SI ( after installing
a bigger one in the rear ) and it really tightened up the steering . on the fit i'd have one on the back first . i've got one on mine along with some chassis
bracing . check out Ultra Racing , they have a line of braces . stiffening up the body does wonders including firming up the ride , steering responce , stability
and ride quality .

Definitely do tires first. I have 195s on mine (Yokohama Avid Ascent GTs) and it helps. I'm biased, but I work at a Honda dealership and I've driven enough GK5s with the stock Firestones to say that I'm not a fan. I feel much more confident on my Yokohama's, and they wear much better too. Good grip in the dry and wet (I live in Maryland where heavy rain is common).

Always start with tires when it comes to handling. It will make a bigger difference than anything else.
