I try to replace mine between every 1 ½ to 2 years... And I also drilled out the OEM one and used it as a fitting since it is a pain in the butt removing it... And bought one that's installed in line and works perfectly!!
Its located below the intake manifold and a long socket and wobbly joint will be better for removal...
On USDM or MXDM the PCV is number 3, and the corresponding washer is number 10....
4 is another type of PCV... There are some models that come with a plug like valve, and others are screw on ..... On MY particular one is the screw type.... I'm not sure which market uses the plug like one....
