deflation warning system
deflation warning system
Hello
A wheel warning light came on
I checked, all wheels are fine
I reset
I drove the car for about a week, and the light came on again
I think the system turns on after the car enters a bump in the road
Does anyone have experience with this?
Thanks

Check your ABS sensors to make sure one isn't loose, or a loose or corroded connector. The 3rd gen Fits use indirect TPMS method of measurment based on wheel speed. It could be an issue with one of the wheel speed (ABS) sensors.
Also, you may have to reset multiple times for the system to register. See info in this thread:

Yes, it happens to me when I replaced old tires, or when the tires are rotated. Even when the tires are inflated to spec pressure the TPMS came on, WTF? The only thing you can do is keep driving and keep resetting. After a few resets, the Fit finally figured out that the tire pressure is OK and no more TPMS warning.

My TPMS warning started to appear time to time especially during longer highway trips, and eventually I found out that brake pad was slightly dragging and that wheel became warmer than three others. Cleaning the pads and slides solved the problem.
