I miss my 2nd and 3rd Gen

They were so much easier to work on and had way less problems than my 2019. This car has turned into a $ pit after 100,000 miles. Absolute POS even after maintaining and doing all the services on time. Will never buy another one again.

3rd Gen Problems.

What problems and issues are you having with your 2019?

Eagerly waiting for details, also.

Now, I do agree that Direct Injection is one of the big negatives of most modern cars for real longevity. I mean, those insane high-pressures involved can't possibly be good for the fuel system (high pressure pump and injectors), not to mention intake gunk. So much so, I'm looking to purchase a Civic Hatchback Sport (K20c with port-injection only), as a last chance thing. I'll keep my 2019 Fit EX MT6 because it's been fine for me so far.

The other part is the CVT. I've had one car with CVT (Impreza) and swore them off forever. No big deal for me since my Fit is Manual Transmission, and the Civic I'm looking to buy is also MT.

Cvt slipping even after changing oil an filter every 30k miles, brake, evap, and electrical issues I never had on my 1st and 2nd gen. Abs brake problems, faulty coolant sensors, unacceptable carbon builup even with 93 and fuel additives every 3-5000 miles along with oil changes. Purge valve, evap charcoal canister, crappy fuel cap, fuel pump replaced, multiple batteries from parasitic battery drain since brand new that when I had a accident on i95 drained my battery and had no hazard lights on a very dangerous stretch of road in SC. And the list goes on. I'm about to let the bank just take it back lol.

Cut your losses. Give the car back to the lien holder. Get another Fit with a Manual Transmission.

Yeah all my other Fits were manuals except for this one and a 15 Fit I traded in for a CRZ(great car but needed 4 doors).
