UPDATED:

After two and a half weeks, the dealer said the leak is fixed but they refused to replace new carpet and also refused not to buy back the car. I will have to keep the car and try to enjoy it even the carpet is not being replaced.

As mentioned previously, if your leak is actually fixed then you should have no further issues from the carpet. It is a synthetic material. The floors/carpet of all vehicles get wet at various times without issue. If the floor isn't currently dry you can speed the process using fans. If the carpet is severely wet you can use newspaper or towels or similar to quickly soak up larger quantities of water. When you're driving use the floor vent (with heat if possible) to aid in drying.

If you really want to replace the carpet, it's not that difficult to do. If you source the carpet yourself a detailing shop or most mechanics can probably do it in a couple hours. I took the carpet out of my 2010 (as part of adding noise deadening materials) and pressure washed it with soapy and then clean water, hung it on the clothesline to dry, and put it back in a few days later. The most difficult part for me was unplugging the seatbelt sensor connections under the front seats. For some reason they were a bear to get apart and I obviously didn't want to break them. Other than that it was easy.

okay this is going to be my last post in this forum. When I went to the dealership to pick up my car today, I discovered the body panel is damage. When I bought this car, they replaced the battery, the passenger's windows (due to scratch and damage by the detailer) and dried out the water (water leak inside). The car has only 6,000 miles on it. They decided to buy back the car. I am not going to buy a used car anymore even it has low miles. I am sad that I will not able to buy a Fit anymore. The dealership kept my car for 3 and a half week for checking the water leak issue. I had to drive 1.5 hours to them each time. This is enough and need to move on. I am going to look for a new Civic Hatchback and move on!
