There's something that my 2018 Fit has done for a while that has me feeling like I'm going crazy. I don't think it's a sign of anything super wrong with it? But at low speeds (10-30mph or so), I can often hear a sound that's almost like... a tired goose honking? This specficially happens if I get on the gas a bit and then let off. The sound happens as I let off. Not that the Fit even has a turbo, but it's definitely not that sorta sound lmao

Has anyone else ever experienced this same thing? Or am I just going crazy and/or something is weirdly wrong. All I can think of is some loose fitting in the intake somewhere that's causing the air to escape in a way that makes this noise?

 

Ha, mine does that too (2019 EX CVT) and I haven't been able to figure it out either. I always notice it getting off the interstate on my way home from work and I've also wondered if it's something bad or not. If anyone knows what is causing it I'd be very interested.

 

LOL mine did the tired goose sound before too a month ago but nothing since. Totally freaked me out. It seemed to come from the passenger side under the dash, maybe something with the AC.
